In a total of 9 Tatami and 5 ring events, the athletes competed against each other. The diversity of disciplines and the high level of the fighters immediately created excitement and thrills.

With participants from 40 nations, the Uzbekistan World Cup 2024 offered a true showcase of international combat sports. Athletes from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas displayed their skills in various kickboxing disciplines. Debut for CENTURY

WAKO APPROVED EQUIPMENT

The World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) is the largest international organization for kickboxing, with over 3 million active members. WAKO became a member of the World Sports Association (now GAISF) in 2006 and has been recognized by the IOC since 2018. WAKO Kickboxing is recognized as the 37th member of the World Games Family (IWGA) and was included in the 2017 World Games.

As a major milestone, WAKO was recognized by the International Olympic Committee on November 30, 2018, and is now part of the Olympic family. WAKO organizes continental and world championships every two years (in all seven disciplines), as well as World and Continental Cups and open tournaments for cadets, juniors, and seniors in both male and female divisions, where only national teams are allowed to participate. WAKO Kickboxing includes 7 competition disciplines.
