Strong Performance from Our Men, Bitter Disappointment for the Women
Unfortunately, our women's team could not participate in the tournament due to injuries, which was a significant disappointment. However, our men gave their all and delivered a remarkable performance, earning them third place.
Team members Carvin Burke, Jack Buckley, Devon Hopper, and Tilen Zajc showcased impressive fights and battled through the tough competition. Noteworthy individual achievements include:
- Alexandra Gregorieva: In the -55 kg category, she achieved an impressive 3rd place, once again demonstrating her class.
- Carvin Burke: With a 2nd place in the 79 kg category and a 3rd place in the 74 kg category, he was a true medal collector.
- Jack Buckley: He topped it all off by securing 1st place in the 79 kg category, an outstanding success.
